Remember. Honor. Climb.
Welcome to the official webpage of the West Palm Beach Memorial Stair Climb, an annual event that honors the 343 firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty during the tragic events of September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center.
About the Event
Every year, our community gathers to climb the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, symbolizing the heroic journey that the fallen firefighters undertook on that fateful day. We come together not just as firefighters but as a community united in remembering and honoring the ultimate sacrifice made by these heroes.
Why We Climb
The West Palm Beach Memorial Stair Climb is more than just a physical endeavor—it's a poignant tribute to courage, sacrifice, and commitment. The stair climb is designed to emulate the trek that 343 brave souls took to save others, knowing the risks they faced.
How to Participate
Register: Sign up as an individual or as a team. Firefighters, first responders, and community members are all welcome.
Fundraise: Each climber is encouraged to raise funds that will go toward supporting the families of the fallen and other firefighter-related charities.
Climb: On the day of the event, participants gather to climb, carrying the name and photograph of one of the 343 heroes. The experience is emotional, reflective, and deeply moving.
Supporting the Cause
Can't participate but still want to support the cause? Donations are warmly welcomed, and you can also sponsor a climber or a team.
Let's Keep the Memory Alive
Participation in the West Palm Beach Memorial Stair Climb is a meaningful way to pay homage to those who gave their lives on 9/11. Together, we climb to remember, to honor, and to ensure that the heroism of that day is never forgotten.
Join us this year to make a difference, pay tribute, and climb in the name of courage, sacrifice, and love.
